What are Viral Warts?
-
Viral warts are caused by the Human Papillomavirus (HPV). They are transmitted through direct or indirect contact and can remain latent in the skin for up to six months before appearing.
-
Pathology: The infected outer layer of the skin undergoes rapid cell proliferation and hyperkeratosis (abnormal thickening of the skin's keratin layer).
-
Progression: Initially appearing as tiny, flesh-colored bumps, they can multiply and spread to other parts of the body over time.
-
A Diverse Virus: There are currently over 100 known subtypes of HPV.
We offer four primary treatment modalities tailored to different clinical conditions. These methods can also be combined to ensure complete eradication.

01
Salicylic Acid
Topical salicylic acid is generally used for mild skin viral warts. It requires a longer treatment period, but it is a gentler and low-risk method.

02
Cryotherapy
For larger warts, cryotherapy is used. This method can rapidly freeze the wart tissue, causing it to fall off and heal.

03
Curettage
This method requires local anesthesia, and then a scalpel or forceps is used to completely scrape away the wart tissue. This is a more invasive method and usually requires several weeks of recovery time.

04
Ablative CO2 laser
Generally, laser ablation surgery requires local anesthesia, but our advanced laser equipment can basically eliminate the need for the anesthesia step. Using laser to burn/vaporize the wart tissue is the fastest and most effective method for removing warts.
